Software Licensing
Important Proprietary Software Notice & Usage Terms
Our Clarity Point of Sale (POS) System is proprietary software. By installing, configuring, or using this software, you are granted a limited license to use it in accordance with our licensing terms. Ownership of the software, database structures, designs, source code, and all intellectual property rights remain exclusively with the developer.
What Your License Includes
- Licensed to use the software.
- Installation on the licensed computer(s).
- Regular technical support (if applicable).
- Software updates according to the purchased plan.
- Access to purchased features.
Ownership
The software is licensed, not sold.
Purchasing or subscribing to the software does not transfer ownership, copyright, source code, trademarks, or any intellectual property rights to the customer. All rights remain exclusively with the developer.
Restrictions
The customer may NOT:
- Modify or alter the software.
- Reverse engineer or decompile the software.
- Copy or distribute the software.
- Share license keys.
- Resell the software.
- Remove copyright notices.
- Bypass or disable licensing or security features.
- Create derivative works based on the software.
License Validity
The license remains valid only while the customer complies with the licensing agreement and maintains any required subscription or maintenance fees.
Violation of the license terms may result in suspension or termination of the license.
Installation Policy
- The software is licensed for approved device(s).
- Additional computers require additional licenses unless otherwise agreed.
- Unauthorized installations are prohibited.
Updates & Support
Customers receive updates and technical support according to their purchased support plan.
Major upgrades may require renewal or purchase of a new license.
Data Ownership
All business data entered into the software remains the property of the customer.
The software itself, including its design, code, database structure, algorithms, user interface, and documentation, remains the exclusive property of the developer.
Intellectual Property
All copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and intellectual property rights relating to the software are reserved by the developer.
Termination
The license may be terminated if:
- • License fees are not paid.
- • License terms are violated.
- • Unauthorized modification or distribution occurs.
- • Piracy or misuse is detected.
Upon termination, the customer must immediately stop using the software.
Acceptance
By installing, activating, or using this software, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the Software License Agreement.
